ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Can the New York Giants even their record at 2-2 Sunday, partially erasing the sting of an inexplicable 0-2 start, or will they sink to 1-3? The Buffalo (2-1) stand in the way this afternoon, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. ET at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Both teams will be without several key players. For the Giants, WR Victor Cruz (calf), DE Robert Ayers (hamstring), TE Daniel Fells (ankle) and defensive tackle Markus Kuhn (knee) won't play. For the Bills, four starters -- WR Sammy Watkins (calf), RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring), S Aaron Williams (neck) and guard John Miller (groin) are out.
The best news for the Giants is that rookie left tackle Ereck Flowers will start at left tackle. Flowers missed last week's game with an ankle injury.. The healthy scratches for the Giants ar linebacker Jasper Brinkley and safety Cooper Taylor.
