The New York Giants have declared a trio of players as out for Monday night's game against the Detroit Lions. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring), defensive tackle Markus Kuhn (ankle) and offensive lineman James Brewer (back) will not play in the season-opening game.
Middle linebacker Jon Beason, guard Brandon Mosley and offensive tackle Charles Brown have all been listed as probable.
Beason, of course, missed all of the preseason with a broken foot. There was no word on whether Mosley, who missed the final preseason game with a back injury, or John Jerry will start at right guard. Kuhn has not practiced since suffering his ankle injury against the New York Jets. Beckham has not practiced for several weeks now.
It is not known how many snaps Beason, who only returned to practice Monday, will be able to play. Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell indicated Friday that Beason may split time with Jameel McClain.
