Giants, 13, Redskins 13, Second-half open thread

Al Bello

In a wide open, pedal to the metal first half the New York Giants and Washington Redskins are tied, 13-13, at halftime.

If this is your first look at the Redskins' offense with Robert Griffin III at quarterback and Alfred Morris running the ball (it is mine) you have to be impressed. Washington has scored every time is has touched the ball, piling up 223 yards of total offense.

Griffin is 5-of-8 for 85 yards and a touchdown passing, and has three carries for 42 yards. Morris has 13 carries for 94 yards for Washington, which has pretty much done whatever it wanted against the Giants' defense thus far.

The Giants have a 1-yard touchdown run from Andre Brown and a pair of Lawrence Tynes field goals.

Eli Manning is 17-of-26 for 186 yards, but has uncharacteristically missed a couple of throws. Hakeem Nicks has five catches, and both Martellus Bennett and Victor Cruz have four.

The Giants are going to have to find a way to stop this Washington offense a couple of times to win this game.
