The New York Giants lead the NFC East with a 4-2 record, but they have yet to win an NFC East game in 2012. Losses to the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles have the Giants 0-2 in the division. The Giants can change that today when they host the 3-3 Washington Redskins at MetLife Stadium at 1 p.m. ET.

The Giants get a first-hand look at Robert Griffin III, the exciting Redskins' rookie quarterback. RGIII gets to test his mettle against the defending Super Bowl champions. This should be an entertaining afternoon. Here is everything you need to know.

The Basic Stuff

Giants (4-2) vs. Washington Redskins (3-3)
Where: MetLife Stadium
When: 1 p.m. ET
TV: FOX -- Thom Brennaman, Troy Aikman, Pam Oliver
Odds: Giants -6

Key Players

Giants

1. Eli Manning: The Redskins are worst in the league against the pass right now. Could a big day for Manning be on the horizon?

2. Defensive ends: Can they keep Robert Griffin III in the pocket? That's probably the best place for him.

3. David Wilson: Well, he is going to the Hall of Fame and all.

Redskins

1. Robert Griffin III: We have talked about him all week.

2. Ryan Kerrigan: He will line up opposite Sean McKenzie. The Giants need to handle him. If they do that they should be able to move the football.

3. Alfred Morris: Morris is averaging 19.3 carries and 89.7 yards per game for Washington. Sure would be nice to take the running game away from the Redskins.

Storylines

The Giants lead the NFC East, but they are 0-2 in the division. They have to have a division victory. Plus, they want a little payback for the two Redskins' victories over them a year ago.

The Redskins are 3-3 and trying to prove that with RGIII they are no longer bottom-feeders in the NFC.

Predictions

Mike Farley, Big Blue View: Giants 31, Redskins 27
Jared Smith, SB Nation New York: Giants 31, Redskins 28

Quotable

"His name is Sir Robert Griffin. That's what I refer to him now. I mean look at what he's done. Look at the way he's performed as a rookie. You don't see players come into the league performing like that at that stage in their career, so all the respect in the world goes to him and he's a phenomenal football player."

-- Osi Umenyiora on Redskins' quarterback Robert Griffin III

"I think at the end of my career, I'll be in the Hall of Fame ... "I'm like birth control. You have to believe in me. Like birth control, 99.9 percent of the time I'm going to come through for you."

-- Giants' running back David Wilson
