The New York Giants announced their official injury report on Friday for Sunday's game at MetLife Stadium against the Cleveland Browns. It's an ugly report that will leave the 2-2 Giants razor thin at a couple key positions.
Wide receiver Ramses Barden (concussion), defensive tackle Rocky Bernard (quadricep) and cornerback Jayron Hosley (hamstring) have been declared out for Sunday's game. They join wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and safety Kenny Phillips on the list of players who will not be available against the Browns.
With Barden and Nicks down, the Giants have just four available wide receivers. Victor Cruz, Domenik Hixon, Reuben Randle and Jerrel Jernigan are the only healthy receivers on the roster.
With Bernard out, Linval Joseph, rookie Markus Kuhn and second-year man Marvin Austin are the only available defensive tackles.
