Middle linebacker Chase Blackburn and right guard Chris Snee are active today and expected to start, according to a variety of reports. Blackburn missed last week's game with a hamstring injury, and Snee has been limited all week after suffering an ankle injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday.
Here are all of the Giants' inactives:
Jerrel Jernigan, Kenny Phillips, Keith Rivers, Jacquian Williams, Adewale Ojomo, Adrien Robinson, Marvin Austin.
Rivers being inactive is a bit of a surprise, and probably a disappointment to the former Cincinnati linebacker. The Giants acquired the oft-injured linebacker from the Bengals in an offseason trade, but Rivers has had hamstring issues and been unable to stay on the field consistently.
The addition of Blackburn will be a welcome one to a Giants' defense head coach Tom Coughlin called "soft" after a 24-20 loss to the Steelers last week.
