Wide receiver Victor Cruz, who missed Monday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals with an ankle injury, practiced on a limited basis for the New York Giants on Thursday. In a hopeful sign for their injury-ravaged offensive line, reserve guard Adam Gettis (calf) also practiced on a limited basis.

Cruz told reporters he “absolutely” expects to play.

“I practiced today and everything feels good. I was running around, making some plays, so everything is feeling good,” he said.

Gettis is one of three injured Giants’ offensive linemen, with Justin Pugh (knee) and Brett Jones (calf) being the others. Pugh and Jones did not practice Thursday. Running back Orleans Darkwa (lower leg) also did not practice.

Kick returner Dwayne Harris (toe) was limited.
