Giants' inactives: Hakeem Nicks will start

Hakeem Nicks will be in uniform Sunday for the New York Giants when they face the San Francisco 49ers. This will be the first action for Nicks since Week 2 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Nicks is expected to start.

Offensive tackle David Diehl (knee) will also be active, but expectations are that Sean Locklear will continue to start at right tackle for the Giants.

Here are your complete Giants' inactives for this afternoon.

DT Rocky Bernard
RB Andre Brown
S Kenny Phillips
WR Jerrel Jernigan
DE Adewale Ojomo
OT James Brewer
TE Adrien Robinson

Bernard's absence means another start for rookie Markus Kuhn. Stevie Brown will against replace Kenny Phillips at safety. Without Brown to back up Ahmad Bradshaw, let's see if the Giants give some increased running opportunities to rookie David Wilson.

The good news on this list is that for what I believe the first time this season all of the Giants' cornerbacks are available.

By the way, Brandon Jacobs will not dress for the 49ers.
