EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- And on Wednesday Tom Coughlin commanded that the New York Giants shall wear full pads. For the first time in their 2015 training camp, the Giants are scheduled to wear full pads when they practice Wednesday afternoon. Unfortunately, due to a 'One Direction' concert at MetLife Stadium, Wednesday's practice is closed to the public.
One of the things to watch today will be whether or not rookie left tackle Ereck Flowers, day-to-day with a hip flexor, will practice. Flowers missed Monday's workout. Judging from the comments section there is a ton of interest in offensive line alignments. If anything changes from what we saw on Monday I will be sure to let you know.
One thing is certain. With the Giants in full pads we should be able to get a read on where things stand on both the offensive and defensive lines.
If you haven't already checked it out, be sure to give the Week 1 'Kudos & Wet Willies' a look.
