EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants hit the field for Day 4 of training camp Monday afternoon at Quest Diagnostics Training Center. When they hit the field at 2:30 p.m. they should be greeted by bright sun, temperatures in the 90s and a decent amount of humidity. Just the conditions Tom Coughlin would order up.

Several assistant coaches will be available to the media today. Wide receivers coach Sean Ryan, safeties coach Dave Merritt, and cornerbacks coach Tim Walton are expected to speak with reporters.

Defensive linemen will be signing autographs following practice. If you are heading to East Rutherford, drop your photos in as Fanshots or tweet them to @bigblueview.

Offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz sat our practice on Sunday with soreness in his surgically-repaired left leg. Let's see if he practices today.

The big story today is the news that general manager Jerry Reese and Jason Pierre-Paul, who had been out of touch with the organization since his Fourth of July fireworks accident, have finally had a conversation.

Watch for some mixing and matching at safety, with Bennett Jackson and Mykkele Thompson each seeing some first-team reps.

The Giants, incidentally, are off on Tuesday.
