What It Means

Mostly, it means that Tom Coughlin has been an NFL head coach for a really, really long time. Sunday will mark Coughlin's 300th NFL game as a head coach, making him only the 13th man in league history to reach that mark. On the field it really doesn't mean much -- these two teams are a combined 4-18.

For the Giants, it would be nice to break their six-game losing streak and not completely embarrass themselves against a team many believe to be the league's worst. It would be nice to show some progress, to show that they won't simply mail in the final five games of the season.
