What a finish! The New York Giants finished in spectacular fashion in a comeback against the San Francisco 49ers. As you can imagine, the reactions were crazy for everyone involving the Giants, except well, the always calm and collected Eli Manning.

Eli Manning on the fourth-quarter comeback

Here is Giants' quarterback Eli Manning on where this, the 27th regular-season fourth-quarter comeback of his career, ranked:

"Well, there were a couple in the Super Bowl, obviously (laughs). This one was special just because we hadn't been as good in the two-minute drives as we once were and we should, come in there and had great confidence and we would ride down and win a lot of games that way. We had one early versus Atlanta, we didn't make the plays, had a couple games we had leads in the fourth quarter and we lost it and it was a big confidence for this offense, for this team that we can win that way. Hey, we can get the ball back, we can drive right down. I've got the confidence we could do it but sometimes you need that reinforcement, you need to do it, you need to have that success and get that attitude, get that feeling. It's big for this team. It was a big win today. It was special," Manning said.

Larry Donnell: "The green zone, where most of my happenings happen"

Let's hear it for the man of the hour with a spectacular catch to win the game. Donnell was all smiles and laughs at his conference when it was all over. According to Donnell, the game winning play was a look that the Giants had practiced often.

"It was something we had been working on the entire week," Donnell said. "You know, we seen a two-high look, we saw the middle of the field open and you know, in the green zone you know, that's where most of my happenings happen. So we saw the look and Eli put it up there and I was the one who got it.

"Once I had it, I had to hold that thing. You know, the game was on the line and I had to make a play."

Shane Vereen: "We do this for each other"

For almost every play in that final, game winning drive, Eli Manning was without his top two receivers. In their place, Shane Vereen stepped up and made some big plays. When asked of how he managed to haul in these clutch passes, Vereen simply said that's what the Giants do for each other.

"We do this for each other. We do this, we're a team," Vereen said. "When we were 0-2 the whole world counted us out. So we came together as a team, you know, we're on a little bit on a roll but we still have a lot of improving to do. We're lucky to get this one and get out of here with a win."

The New York Giants are now in sole possession of first place but Vereen isn't surprised.

"I see it. I love this team. I love the way that we compete, the way we fight and hopefully we can continue to do that."

Odell Beckham Jr. on coming back to the game

Of course what also made the Larry Donnell catch possible was the superb play of Odell Beckham Jr. Even though he didn't show up on the stat sheet for that game winning drive, his presence was immediately felt the first play coming back. He felt that he would have let his teammates down if he wasn't in there.

"You gotta go. There's nothing more to it," Beckham said. "Like I said multiple times before, this is what I love. This is my passion. This is everything. So there's no way in a moment like that, you can't step up. I felt as if I let the team down for being out awhile."
