EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants, already short-handed at linebacker with Devon Kennard (hamstring) and Jonathan Casillas (calf) inactive, suffered another blow Sunday night when middle linebacker Jon Beason left the game against the San Francisco 49ers in the first quarter with a concussion.
Beason was injured on San Francisco's opening drive. He was replace by Uani 'Unga. The only remaining extra linebacker the Giants have is veteran Jasper Brinkley, active for the first time this season.
