The New York Giants threw us a pair of curveballs in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Giants gave us our first surprise by trading out of the 11th overall pick, swapping picks with the Chicago Bears after each of their top four targets were off the board in the first 10 picks. The Giants’ second surprise of the round was with the selection of Florida receiver Kadarious Toney, eschewing the offensive line or EDGE positions.

The wide receiver position was long suspected to be a target for the Giants, but Toney was usually expected to go somewhere in the second round. What do we make of the explosive gadget player from Florida, and what does the draft landscape look like heading into the second round?

In this podcast

  • Recapping the Giants’ trade with the Bears
  • What does Kadarious Toney bring to the Giants’ offense?
  • Who are the best players available for round 2?
  • Which players should we keep an eye for the Giants?
