As it happens, yours truly was just putting together the latest edition of the ‘Valentine’s Views’ podcast when news broke that New York Giants coach Pat Shurmur was leaving the door open to a change from Eli Manning to Daniel Jones at quarterback.
Lucky for you, then, you get my initial reaction to the idea that Manning’s time as the Giants’ starting quarterback could come to an end as soon as Wednesday, when Shurmur has promised to make his final decision official.
