NFL: New York Giants at Carolina Panthers Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

On the latest addition of the Big Blue Big Board podcast, Matt Harmon of Yahoo! Sports joins Dan Pizzuta and Chris Pflum to break down a number of wide receivers.

Harmon has been known for his #ReceptionPerception charting method, which he explains at the start of the show — a study of wide receiver routes and success against different types of coverage.

The show starts in the past, breaking down what made Odell Beckham Jr. one of the most special wide receivers in the league — one defenses truly had to scheme against.

Then the conversation moves on to what the Giants currently have on the roster with a discussion of Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate.

Harmon also talks about his philosophy on judging drops and why our negativity bias makes them appear more detrimental to a player or offense than they really are.

Finally, Harmon gives an overview of a few draft prospects who have stood out to him so far, including N’Keal Harry, D.K. Metcalf, and Hakeem Butler.
