Is New York Giants’ running back Saquon Barkley “the right player for the wrong team?” That’s what Newsday’s national NFL columnist Bob Glauber opined on Monday’s debut episode of the ‘Valentine’s Views’ podcast on Big Blue View Radio.
Glauber’s opinion on the selection of Barkley rather than a quarterback hits an often-debated topic that won’t go away unless the Giants are able to quickly find a long-term successor for Eli Manning.
Quite a way to get the newest show on Big Blue View radio off the ground.
Glauber, who began covering the Giants in the mid-1980s, said the team’s current circumstance is the worst he has seen in the more than 30 years he has been around the organization.
Here is more of what you will find on today’s episode:
- Glauber promoted his book, ‘Guts and Genius,’ the story of coaches Bill Parcells, Joe Gibbs and Bill Walsh. That will hit store shelves later this month.
- Ed shows his disdain for the idea of tanking.
- A look ahead to some of the things to watch during the second half of the season.
