Giants-Eagles final injury report: Safety Jason Pinnock out for Giants

Tae Banks, John Michael Schmitz uncertain

New York Giants safety Jason Pinnock has been ruled out of Sunday’s season finale against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a toe injury. Pinnock is the only Giant on the 53-man roster who definitely will not play.

Pinnock, a third-year player, has had a good season for the Giants. He finishes with 85 tackles, two interceptions (one returned 102 yards for a touchdown), two sacks, tow forced fumbles, six passes defensed, four quarterback hits and a 74.8 passer rating against.

Cornerback Deonte Banks (shoulder) and center John Michael Schmitz (shin) are uncertain. Banks is listed as doubtful. Schmitz as questionable.

“We’ll see where they’re at after practice,” said head coach Brian Daboll.

Quarterback Tyrod Taylor has been on the injury report this week with a back issue, necessitating the Giants adding Jacob Eason to their practice squad. Daboll, though, expects Taylor to be fine and to start vs. the Eagles.
