Star defensive tackle works on limited basis

Star defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence returned to practice for the New York Giants on Friday, meaning there is a chance Lawrence could be ready to play against the Green Bay Packers on Monday.

Lawrence missed the Giants’ Week 12 game against the New England Patriots with a hamstring injury, and was held out of practice earlier this week.

Right tackle (Evan Neal) ankle did not practice and will miss a fourth straight game. Neal will have missed six of the last seven games with two separate ankle injuries, one on each leg.

Tight end Daniel Bellinger missed practice due to illness.

The biggest injury of note for the Packers is wide receiver Christian Watson, who is dealing with a hamstring injury.
