He will have an MRI in the morning to confirm, and surgery is a possibility.

The Giants cut Phillips before the season started, then signed him off the Philadelphia Eagles’ practice squad. He had been starting in place of Evan Neal, who is on IR due to an ankle injury.
Phillips was on crutches in the locker room after the game with a massive brace on his right leg.
Safety Jason Pinnock was ruled out of Sunday’s game with a foot injury. He suffered the injury early in the first quarter against the Los Angeles Rams.
Pinnock was injured on the the Rams’ second drive when Rams’ RB Kyren Williams landed on his foot during a tackle. The injury to Pinnock brought Dane Belton onto the field in relief. The injury also makes Giants’ depth at safety a concern, as Nick McCloud is starting opposite Adoree Jackson at cornerback with Deonte Banks injured.
