Giants vs. Rams: How to watch, TV schedule, start time, announcers, and more

All the info for Week 17

NFL: New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Rams Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Rams will be looking to use the New York Giants as a stepping stone to securing an NFC Wild Card spot when they travel to East Rutherford on New Year’s Eve.

If Los Angeles wins and the Seattle Seahawks lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, the Rams will clinch a playoff spot. The Giants were eliminated from contention in a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last Monday.

The Rams have scored at least 28 points in each of their last five games and won four of those matchups, mostly thanks to an exceptional passing attack. Matthew Stafford has 14 touchdown passes to just one interception in his last five games. Wide receiver Puka Nacua remains on pace to break the record for receiving yards by a rookie.

The Rams’ only loss since Nov. 5 was in overtime against the Baltimore Ravens, who currently hold the best record in the NFL.

The Giants have not been as successful. New York surprisingly won three games in a row with undrafted rookie Tommy Devito starting at quarterback. But, Devito was benched in the second half Monday as the Giants headed towards a second straight loss. Tyrod Taylor will start at quarterback against Los Angeles.

Both the Giants and the Rams have faced the New Orleans Saints over the past two weeks. The Giants were crushed 24-6, but the Rams won 30-22.

The Giants have lost their last three games against the Rams dating back to 2017. In fact, New York is 17-29 all-time against the Rams, their worst winning percentage (36.9%) against any opponent.
