Giants-Eagles injury report: Dexter Lawrence, Rakeem Nunez-Roches not practicing

Evan Neal also not practicing

The New York Giants injury report for Thursday provided ample evidence as to why the team on Thursday signed defensive lineman Timmy Horne off the Atlanta Falcons practice squad.

Defensive tackles Dexter Lawrence (hamstring) and Rakeem Nunez-Roches (knee) did not practice on Thursday. Defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson (back) did not practice on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday.

Randy Bullock to IR

To make room for Horne on the 53-man roster, the Giants put placekicker Randy Bullock on season-ending IR. Bullock suffered a hamstring injury that necessitated punter Jamie Gillan taking over emergency kicking duties during Sunday’s loss to the New Orleans Saints. Bullock finishes the season 5 of 6 on field-goal attempts and 10 of 10 on extra points in six games with the Giants.

Practice squad placekicker Cade York will likely be the Giants’ kicker Monday in Philadelphia.

No sign of Evan Neal

The second-year right tackle, who has played in one game since Week 6 and has not appeared in a game since Week 9, was not seen at practice by media members in attendance. It is fair to wonder at this point if Neal, dealing with an ankle issue, will play again this season.

Tight end Lawrence Cager and safety Xavier McKinney (illness) were also not practicing.
