It’s an NFC West battle between two 5-8 teams that have suffered turnover and injuries. The Raiders fired Josh McDaniel earlier this season, and Antonio Pierce assumed the role as head coach.

The Raiders are 2-3 since McDaniel’s firing, and they’re coming off a nail-biting 3-0 loss against the Minnesota Vikings. Rumors suggest the Raiders may turn back to Jimmy Garoppolo over Aidan O’Connell.

The Chargers lost 24-7 at home against the Denver Broncos in Week 14. An even bigger loss was suffered by Los Angeles; quarterback Justin Herbert suffered a finger injury that required surgery and is out indefinitely. Wide receiver Keenan Allen will also miss the game with a heel injury.

The Chargers are 1-4 since Week 9, and their lone win was against the Patriots, and it was at 6-0 score. Easton Stick will start for the Chargers, but a rash of injuries could also affect his play.
