Star defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence, who missed the New York Giants’ Week 12 game against the New England Patriots with a hamstring injury, will play Monday night when the Giants host the Green Bay Packers.
The game missed by Lawrence was first of his five-year career missed due to injury. He sat out a 2021 game due to COVID, and was held out of last season’s Week 18 game against the Philadelphia Eagles along with a host of other Giants starters.
A second-team All-Pro in 2022, Lawrence has 4.0 sacks and leads the Giants with 17 quarterback hits. He is also Pro Football Focus’s highest-graded interior defensive lineman.
Tight end Daniel Bellinger, who missed practice Friday and Saturday with an illness, will play.
Starting right tackle Evan Neal will miss his fourth straight game and sixth in the last seven with his second ankle injury of the season.
The Packers will be without wide receiver Christian Watson, running back Aaron Jones and linebacker Quay Walker.
