Giants waive PK Cade York

That makes it likely Randy Bullock will be signed to 53-man-roster

The New York Giants on Wednesday waived placekicker Cade York, who was signed to the 53-man roster when Graham Gano was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury. York was inactive for all three games he was on the roster after being signed off the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad.

The Giants instead chose to have veteran Randy Bullock, who had been signed to the practice squad, do the placekicking. Bullock is now out of practice squad elevations and the obvious move is to sign him to the 53-man roster.

Bullock, 33, has made his only two field-goal attempts and is 6-for-6 on extra-point attempts in three games with the Giants.

Bullock has been in the NFL since 2013. He has kicked for the Houston Texans, New York Jets, Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans and Giants.

York, 22, was a fourth-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2022. He was cut at the end of the 2023 preseason and landed with the Titans’ practice squad. Should he clear waivers, York will likely end up on the Giants’ practice squad.
