“I don’t really care what anybody thinks or how they feel,” free safety Xavier McKinney said of the idea that the Giants had folded. “We’re all grown men, and we’re playing to win. I get that you’ve got other things that factor into it — business side, money side. But at the end of the day, we’re trying to win games.”

Jones said last week that he hasn’t been told if he will start in Week 12 against the Giants when the Patriots return from their off week.
“No. We haven’t talked about that,” Jones said on the Jones and Mego Show. “ Just see how it goes there and the bye week is a great time to work on things that you can do better so, that’s what I’m going to do. ”

Jabrill Peppers and Jahlani Tavai have been crucial to the Patriots’ defensive operation, and two of the best players on this side of the ball. Their playing-time shares look the part: Peppers and Tavai have been on the field for 94.5 and 72.1 percent of defensive snaps, respectively.
Recently, the Patriots have improved to 20th in expected points added per rush (-0.13), which is only slightly lower than their -0.08 expected points added per rush last season. In the first six weeks of the season, Rhamondre Stevenson was averaging 0.8 yards before contact on 78 carries, with that number increasing to 1.5 yards before contact on 48 carries in the last four weeks. Furthermore, Stevenson's stuff rate has decreased from 21.8% to 12.5% in recent weeks.
