The New York Giants aren’t playing anymore after losing to the (now) NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional round. The NFC and AFC Championship games saw the two best teams in the league, the Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, survive and advance to the Super Bowl.
Giants’ GM Joe Schoen admitted that there’s a “talent gap” between the Giants and the best teams in the NFL. The Giants want to be where the Eagles and Chiefs are now, and they have work to do to get there. So what can the Giants take away from the Championship games and apply to their own continued rebuild in 2023 and beyond?
