First:
I would love to see the Giants drag the jet organization into a Natural Grass playing field. Would it be expensive and hard to maintain? Sure! But it can be done and it's a safer way to protect the on field talent from needless oftentimes freak injuries. The reality is that they will probably just put down a New Rug. If so, I hope they go with the safest artificial surface out there, Matrix Turf. It's not perfect, but it has proven to be far safer.
Second:
I would like to see the Giants go back to the FA Center well in Cleveland where they stole O'Hara and sign Nathan Pocic This guy is 27 and was a 2nd RD. choice of Seattle out of LSU. He signed a one year deal with the Browns and after their starter went down he stepped in at Center and had a Monster year. Cleveland wants to keep him, but they are way over the cap. He might cost more than a high round rookie, but with him there are no questions. He's ready to plug in and play at a high level. With their 2nd pick in RD.3 I'd like to see them take ND C/OG Jarrett Patterson.
Third:
I'm all in on the Giants sighing FA MLB Trumaine Edwards. Schoen and Dabs know all about him from Buffalo and he would certainly help close down the opponents run game. Along with that I would like to see them draft Iowa's! MLB Jack Campbell. This guy can play the middle. He is 6'5'' 246 lbs. He reads things quickly, uses his hands to shed blockers and knocks down everything around him that moves. As a Bonus he is able to stand up or help cover TE's.
Fourth:
I want them to keep Landon Collins, Jaylon Smith and Sterling Sheppard. All of them are versatile smart and tough leaders. Remember that Character and Leadership Matter! And, as one more add on, I'd like to see them bring FA Johnathan Hankins Home. Adding him makes for a very strong DT rotation with an extended Leo and re-signed Dex
Fifth:
With next year's stronger and more settled O-Line they will need people to catch the ball. I think Beckham May Be Back In Blue this year at 1925 Giants Drive! Bellinger and Hodgins were great finds. Hopefully Robinson is back and ready to go. Give Shep another chance when he is ready and bring back Slayton and James. In the Third RD I'd hope to draft WR Xavier Hutchinson. My first pick at #25 would be ND TE Michael Mayer and I'd be ecstatic to get him. With Meyer #1 and Bellinger #2 that is a nice young pair of TEs. Also, As Always, I'd go after FA TE Maxx Williams.
Finally:
I would draft the best available CBs in rounds 2 and 4. That said. I have great faith in Schoen & Co.to go after and get more upgrades in talent with the 11 picks and look forward to Free Agency, the Draft and another Big Run in 2023.
Go Blue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
