Poll results: Giants’ fans overwhelmingly expecting a victory over Minnesota Vikings

New York Giants fans are an optimistic bunch heading into Sunday’s 2023 Super Wild-Card Weekend matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Despite the sixth-seeded Giants being 3-point underdogs to the home-standing and third-seeded Vikings, 87 percent of voters in this week’s ‘SB Nation Reacts’ polling are predicting a victory by the Giants.

This GIANTS team has come too far this season to bet against them in the first round.. These are house money playoff games for NY, as they can relax and go for broke as the underdog against whoever they play.. That SKOL chant is as annoying as the stupid train horn in Buffalo.. This game is winnable....Good luck GIANTS

In the ‘Reacts’ poll, we also asked voters if struggling rookie right tackle Evan Neal should stay at right tackle next season or be moved inside. Overwhelmingly, voters want him given a second season at right tackle as 89 percent voted to keep him there.

In our weekly ‘confidence’ poll, 98 percent of voters expressed confidence in the direction of the playoff-bound Giants.

Finally, we offered one poll this week outside the boundaries of ‘SB Nation Reacts’ this is worth highlighting. We asked BBV readers whether offensive coordinator Mike Kafka or defensive coordinator Wink Martindale was more likely to get a head-coaching job during this hiring cycle.

The answer seems fairly obvious with Kafka having two interviews scheduled and Martindale as of now drawing no interest. Our voters agreed, with 65 percent saying Kafka.
