Latest 2023 Giant NFL mock drafts

Mock draft season never sleeps. The latest is a Matt Miller mock draft and the ESPNer has the Giants taking Miami Hurricane QB Tyler Van Dyke. That is not great news for Daniel Jones and the former top 10 pick that hasn't panned out. Are the new people in charge of New York already to move on from Jones? This totally makes sense as Jones is not great and the new guys want to make their mark and bring in their own quarterback.

A quarterback is the sexy pick and usually gets the headlines but maybe the new crew should be taking a look at other positions and go with Jones for at least one more before already calling for his replacement.

Check out the latest football odds and bets for the next year's NFL Draft. The defense is an area of need for the G-Men.

The site Tankathon has their early mock in place and the New York Giants are — wait for it — selecting in the Top 10 again meaning they are in for another losing season in 2022. Tankathon predicts Big Blue will be selecting ninth overall and taking Clemson’s Myles Murphy, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound prospect who they have ranked as their No. 2 edge rusher. Unlike this season, when they had two Top 10 picks, the Giants have just one first rounder in 2023.

Before we move forward we can also look back as a reminder as to what took place last year. Also it's fun to talk about future awesome defender in former Oregon Duck Kayvon Thibodeaux.

He will be ready for his first NFL training camp when the New York Giants rookies report on July 19. The No. 5 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft reportedly sustained a minor hip injury during a spring practice, but Thibodeaux said. "I'm fully healthy, I'm doing fine," Thibodeaux said. "I'm back training and I'll be ready to go for training camp."
