The NFL has a three-game slate scheduled for Saturday, headlined by a primetime matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills. The Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis Colts will square off earlier in the day in a matchup between the New York Giants’ Week 16 and Week 17 opponents.

With four games left to go in the regular season, there are plenty of opportunities for teams to begin clinching the first few postseason spots.

First, the Minnesota Vikings will look to clinch the NFC North by beating the Indianapolis Colts. The Vikings lost last week to the surging Detroit Lions, but Detroit’s poor start to the season means the Vikings just need a win to clinch their first division title since 2019.

Next, the Lamar Jackson-less Baltimore Ravens will face the Cleveland Browns. With Jackson still recovering from a knee injury, backup Tyler Huntley will start. Huntley was limited in practice this week but does not carry an injury designation. The Ravens beat the Browns 23-20 in Week 7, but that was while Jackson was healthy and Deshaun Watson was suspended.

The Bills can clinch a postseason berth and avenge their narrow Week 3 loss with a win over the Dolphins. After some midseason mishaps, Buffalo is on a four-game winning streak and once again looks like a Super Bowl favorite. Miami currently holds the AFC’s sixth seed and a 70 percent shot at making the playoffs, though they’ve lost their past two games.

Use this as your open thread to discuss all the action while we await the Giants’ matchup with the Washington Commanders on Sunday night.
