The New York Giants improved their record to 3-1 with a 20-12 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 4.
We expected an ugly, sloppy, hard-fought game between these two teams. Both the Giants and Bears specialize in running the ball and playing defense, and neither team is particularly interested in throwing the ball.
But even so, nobody expected the game to turn out quite like this. The Giants were able to contain the Bears’ running game, and the offense took advantage of some sloppy, undisciplined play from the Bears’ defense... Right up until the Giants were forced to be a Wildcat offense when their quarterback depth chart was depleted by injury.
There was a lot to talk about with this game.
