OT10's 4-Round 2022 Mock Draft (w/ trades Mr. Squidward, w/ trades)

Round 1 Pick #5 - OT Ikem Ekwonu (NC State)
- Also considered: OT Charles Cross (MSST), C Tyler Linderbaum (Iowa), DE George Karlaftis (Purdue), DE David Ojabo (Michigan)

Slowly rising up the ranks and could honestly be argued as the top OT in the class, Ekwonu possesses an aggressive mentality and fights at the point of attack, moving well and utilizing his size with pure balance and precision. Has fantastic football IQ and would be a devastating bookend at RT.

Round 1 Pick #7 - TRADE to NYJ

The Giants trade Pick #7 and Pick #132 (5th) to the New York Jets (who jump the Falcons for CB Derek Stingley Jr.). Giants receive Picks #10 and #69 (3rd).

Round 1 Pick #10- C Tyler Linderbaum (Iowa)
- Picked before: CB Stingley (Jets), CB Booth (Falcons), QB Corral (Broncos)
- Also Considered: DE George Karlaftis (Purdue), DE David Ojabo (Michigan), LB Devin Lloyd (Utah)

Look, I wanted an EDGE guy like Karlaftis or Ojabo and passing on both was EXTREMELY difficult...but that said I don't care WHO you have at QB (see Trevor Lawrence), fi your OL sucks it doesn't matter because you can't win games with your QB on the ground. Linderbaum is a Ryan Kelly-style MAULER that would allow Gates to swing to Guard and would solve 4/5 of our OL (with Ekwonu at RT and the battle for the remaining OG spot).

Round 2 Pick #36- LB Nakobe Dean (Georgia)

Dean played the Blake Martinez role for Georgia this past year and his on-field leadership, high play rec, and superb awareness make him a legitimate threat at the MLB position and a perfect compliment to Martinez (especially since its becoming increasingly obvious Crowder and Ragland were nothing more than stop-gaps).

Round 3 Pick #67- QB Desmond Ridder (Cincinnati)

QB time? QB time! Ridder was (somehow) still on the Board here and at Round 3 I felt he was wayy too good of value to pass up. He would definitely benefit from more development but our new regime would get an intelligent and mobile QB to mold into their own.

Round 3 Pick #69 (from NYJ)- TE Isaiah Likely (Coastal Carolina)

No more must we deal with Engram (FA) or whats left of Kyle Rudolph (cut most likely), we now have a physical, playmaking TE. Likely couldn't have done any better for Coastal if he tried and was a large part of the reason Coastal won as many games as they did. Likely is physical, he is elusive, and he has some of the most consistent hands I've seen from a TE. He would be an IMMEDIATE TE1 on this team.

Round 3 Pick #81- OG Jamaree Salyer (Georgia)

Salyer is a powerful, run-heavy Guard and plays very well to his strengths. He would be an immediate upgrade over whatever Will Hernandez was and would most likely be our Day 1 Guard over Shane Lemieux.

Round 4 Pick #108 - EDGE Arnold Ebiketie (Penn State)

Prototype EDGE player with great pass-rush abilities, though he could benefit greatly from NFL-level coaching and conditioning and can move around the DL.
