Good morning, New York Giants fans!

Guard Ben Bredeson likes Giants’ O-line system

New York traded acquired Bredeson from the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, and the second-year guard already sees some parallels between the two organizations.

“There’s some carryover in the style of play,” Bredeson said. “We’re trying to have a physical run game on both sides. Obviously, we had a great quarterback in Baltimore, and we have a great quarterback here in New York. It’s a great organization to come in and play for.”

One thing he’s not used to, though, is having four offensive line coaches.

“I’ve loved it. There’s a lot of eyes on you and there’s a lot of different – you’re constantly getting coached the entire time. You’ve got at least one pair of eyes, maybe two. We’ve got everybody there, they’re extremely knowledgeable and have already helped me a lot in the two practices that I’ve been here.

Bredeson’s friend and former Giant Kevin Zeitler, now on the Ravens, helped him with the transition.

“Kevin kind of gave me the quick rundown. We’ve been texting the last few days. He’s a great guy. I train with him in the offseason. We live pretty close to each other back in Wisconsin, so I’ve known him. I grew up in like the shadow of Kevin the whole time because he was a big deal in my hometown. Now we’re great friends, peers and having him be able to help me while we were in Baltimore together for a little bit and now help me in this transition to New York, I can’t say enough great things about him.”

Santoso still needs to appear in two regular season games for the Giants to receive Carolina’s seventh-round pick, but that is seeming more and more likely.

“Yeah, what’s it’s going on? Day 4, Day 5? It’s been awesome. Everyone here is super welcoming. Everyone greets me with a smile. It feels like home already. I’m just trying to learn names, faces, the schedule. Just getting everything situated. But from coach (Matt) Rhule down, upper management, everyone’s been incredible so far. I can tell it’s an organization that really wants to win.”
