The second primetime NFC East matchup for the season is set as the 1-1 Philadelphia Eagles are scheduled to visit the 1-1 Dallas Cowboys Monday night.

It may only be Week 3 but the game is important because of the state of the NFC East. The division champion at the end of the season could be decided in these early regular-season matchups.

Quarterback Dak Prescott is 5-2 in his career against the Eagles and the Eagles are 1-4 when they play in Dallas dating back to 2016. Philly is also just 7-11 in their last 18 games against the Cowboys.

With both the New York Giants and Washington Football Team losing Sunday, the winner of tonight’s game will take an early lead in the division.
