Things are bad for the 0-3 New York Giants. Oddsmakers think they are about to get worse, with DraftKings Sportsbook listing the Giants as 7.5-point underdogs in a Week 4 road game against the New Orleans Saints.
DK Nation says this of the matchup:
Nothing changes here for the Giants, who I expect will lose another hard-fought game. New Orleans is the better team and certainly has the healthier roster heading into this Week 4 matchup. Jameis Winston and Alvin Kamara will put points on the board and the Giants just won’t have the horses to do the same. Expect another great defensive performance for the Saints as well.
The Giants have lost consecutive games on final-play-of-the-game field goals. The 2-1 Saints have beaten the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots, while losing to the Carolina Panthers.
The Giants will be without linebacker Blake Martinez, who tore an ACL Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons and is out for the season. Starting offensive linemen Nick Gates and Shane Lemieux are also on IR.
Wide receivers Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton suffered hamstring injuries against Atlanta. The severity of those injuries is currently unknown.
