EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Kenny Golladay will play Sunday for the New York Giants when they host the Atlanta Falcons. Golladay, listed on Friday’s injury report as questionable with a hip injury, will be inactive.

The Giants signed Golladay to a four-year, $72 million contract this offseason in hopes he would be their No. 1 wide receiver despite the 27-year-old playing only five games with the Detroit Lions due to a hip injury.

Golladay was caught by cameras yelling at offensive coordinator Jason Garrett near the end of the Giants’ Week 2 loss to the Washington Football Team. Both parties have downplayed the incident.

On Sunday, Golladay went through a pre-game workout about 2½ hours prior to kickoff under the watchful eyes of wide receiver coach Tyke Tolbert and members of the medical staff. The group held a lengthy on-field meeting once the workout concluded.

Golladay has 7 receptions for 102 yards over the first two games.

Running back Devontae Booker, who has been the backup to Saquon Barkley, is a surprise inactive for the Giants.
