How will you remember Eli Manning? The New York Giants will honor their longest-tenured player during a halftime ceremony on Sunday by retiring his No. 10 jersey and entering him into the franchise’s Ring of Honor.

Chris Pflum did a great job this week in a ‘10 for 10’ post, highlighting the best moments of Manning’s career.

My perspective on Manning is a bit different. It comes from having been around him a little, having watched up close how he treated people. One of my favorite moments ever while running this site was a 1-on-1 phone interview with Manning from a charity event he was participating in. Manning didn’t have to do that, especially for someone he didn’t really know, but he did it graciously. Pretty much how he did everything else.
