Good morning, New York Giants fans!

Giants’ Joe Judge reunites Cheap Labor Union from Alabama in New York - ESPN

A large portion of the Giants’ coaching staff have been together since working under Nick Saban in 2007.

The Giants’ CLU contingent begins with Judge, who was a special teams analyst at Alabama from 2007 to 2011. Then there is offensive line coach Rob Sale, who was listed as a strength and conditioning assistant in the 2011 Alabama football media guide. (Almost all the Alabama coaches back then spent time working in the weight room at some point). Offensive quality control coach Russ Callaway was a defensive assistant that same year. Jody Wright, an offensive assistant with the Giants, was a defensive analyst on Saban’s staff. New York’s defensive quality control coach, Carter Blount, was a student assistant at Alabama (2008-09).

Giants senior defensive assistant Jeremy Pruitt (secondary) and linebackers coach Kevin Sherrer (director of player development) were sort of executive members of the CLU because they were slightly more well-compensated having experienced success in the high school coaching ranks prior to their arrival.

David Sills: Following Daniel Jones everywhere part of ‘wild’ Giants ride -

Sills has yet to appear in an NFL game, but he and Jones have already built a rapport.

A year ago, Sills earned Daniel Jones’ trust. The two were inseparable this offseason.

Everywhere Jones went, Sills was sure to follow, and he’s a better player for it.

Sills moved in with his sister and brother-in-law in Charlotte - and, conveniently enough, they lived eight minutes from Jones’ home. At Sills’ estimate, they worked out 10 or more times per week for 10 consecutive weeks, traveling to Arizona for on-field sessions with Giants teammates to Alabama for more training and then back to Charlotte.

“Basically this guy followed Daniel around the country,” Giants coach Joe Judge said of Sills. “Wherever Daniel was, he was going to be there to catch passes. That’s someone who you can tell has really invested in himself to get every shot he has.”

Joe Judge and Leonard Williams will be interviewed today on NFL Network.

Apparently wide receiver isn’t the only position Kadarius Toney can play.
