New York Giants announce 2021 uniform schedule - Giants.com
The New York Giants today announced their 2021 uniform schedule presented by Nike, which includes new road white pants and an increased number of times the team will wear its Color Rush uniform. Additionally, in celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the 2011 championship season, the Giants will wear the same uniform combination from Super Bowl XLVI at home in Week 7 vs. the Rams.
“The 2021 season is special for many reasons as we celebrate the anniversary of the Super Bowl XLVI championship team, Eli Manning entering the Ring of Honor, the jersey retirements of Eli and Michael Strahan, and of course, fans returning to MetLife Stadium,” Giants President and Chief Executive Officer John Mara said. “The uniform lineup is an exciting extension of the year-long celebration.”
Ebner, currently a free agent, played a team-high 332 special teams snaps last year. He has been a favorite of Joe Judge’s since Judge was the special teams coordinator on the Patriots.
“Nate’s continuing his rehab right now at home. He’s been in touch with our medical team regularly,” Judge told reporters. “I’m not going to go fully into his deal, but I will say this, Nate obviously was competing for a spot on the Olympic team. The nature of Nate is, he doesn’t know how to slow down, so there was a point where he was kind of pushing and pushing his body and he had to make a decision at one point.
