Giants announce plans to celebrate 2011 Super Bowl team

The New York Giants on Wednesday announced plans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 2011 Super Bowl XLVI championship throughout the 2021 NFL season.

  • The highlight for fans will be a halftime celebration during the Oct. 17 game at MetLife Stadium vs. the Los Angeles Rams. There will also be pre-game activities and video baord features.
  • Fans will have a chance interact with members of the championship team through a series of virtual events all season long. They will also have the chance to win autographed memorabilia, tickets, and other limited-edition product by following the team on social media.
  • There will be a retail collaboration with Carl Banks and STARTER featuring a limited-edition varsity jacket featuring the newly unveiled 10th Anniversary logo. Fans can pre-order the jacket, seen below, by visiting the Giants online store at http://shop.giants.com.
  • The Giants will also be launching an eight-episode podcast series in August to commemorate the title. Players like Eli Manning, Victor Cruz, Antrel Rolle and Justin Tuck will appear.

“The exhilaration you feel while hoisting a championship trophy is extraordinary. While we work to again savor that feeling, we are excited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Super Bowl XLVI championship team,” said Steve Tisch, Giants chairman and executive vice president, in a statement released by the team.
