Good morning, New York Giants fans!
Giants hire Steven Price as pro personnel manager, promote Tim McDonnell to co-director of player personnel - NY Daily News
Former Texans scout Steven Price has been hired as the Giants’ new pro personnel manager. Price, as NY Daily News writer Pat Leonard puts it, is now “responsible for scouting the Giants’ upcoming opponent and presenting weekly reports to the coaching staff, as well as continually evaluating NFL personnel, including active players and free agents.”
Giants Players with Most to Prove Ahead of 2021 Season - Bleacher Report
Nobody should be surprised to see that the team’s 2017, 2018 and 2019 first rounders (Evan Engram, Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones) are the ones with the most to prove. From Engram’s drops in pivotal moments, Barkley’s health concerns and Jones’ streaky performances and up-in-the-air status as “QB of the Future” in New York, 2021 is expected to be a breakout year for the offense or sweeping changes may be on the way.
As discussed above, Jones is widely seen as being “under pressure” to perform in 2021. How he gets started in OTAs and minicamp may help set the tone early for what he can accomplish next season.
