The New York Giants on Thursday announced the signings of three rookie draft picks. Second-round pick Azeez Ojulari and sixth-round picks Gary Brightwell and Rodarius Williams have all signed their rookie contracts.
Rookie contracts are slotted. Ojulari’s deal will be worth $6,774,908 over four years as the 50th overall picks. As sixth-round picks, Brightwell will earn $3,658,870 and Williams will earn $3,653,135.
The Giants also officially announced the signings of three undrafted free agents — Brett Heggie (OL, Florida), Jake Burton (OL, Baylor), Raymond Johnson III (Edge, Georgia Southern). Defensive end Breeland Speaks was waived to make room on the 90-man roster.
The Giants will hold rookie mini-camp from Friday through Sunday, May 14-16. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the mini-camp will only be attended by approximately 22 players. In a normal year, there are enough players in attendance for at least some full team periods. These workouts will be short ones geared toward individual drills.
