Our final mock draft tracker of the 2021 NFL draft season shows a clear preference for the New York Giants to select a wide receiver with the 11th overall pick on Thursday night.
There are exactly 100 mock drafts included in this edition of the tracker. Alabama wide receiver Devonta Smith is the top choice in the mock draft community, selected 22 times. That, perhaps, reflects the belief that Giants GM Dave Gettleman may be “enamored” with Smith despite his being only 166 pounds, and that Giants coach Joe Judge may favor him.
Jaylen Waddle, the other Alabama wide receiver expected to go off the board early, has often been the player most often mocked to the Giants at No. 11 in our weekly tracker. Here, he is second choice, chosen 19 times.
Closing quickly on the top spot in the days before the draft were a pair of defensive players. Michigan edge Kwity Paye and Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons were each selected in 16 of our 100 mock drafts.
Offensive lineman Rashawn Slater of Northwestern was the choice in 14 mock drafts.
