Even with the 2021 NFL Draft still most of a month away, we have already gotten plenty of action in the top 10.
A series of trades earlier this month both brought some picks at the very top of the draft into focus, while also creating the opportunity for several teams to be wildcards. First the San Francisco 49ers traded with the Miami Dolphins, jumping from 12th overall up to 3rd overall. Then the Dolphins moved back into the top 10, trading with the Philadelphia Eagles for the 6th overall selection.
A few days later, the New York Jets traded QB Sam Darnold to the Carolina Panthers, giving Carolina two potential options for a starting quarterback while the Jets begin to execute a roster reset following the departure of Adam Gase.
All this sets a very interesting stage for the New York Giants at 11th overall. Could we see four or five quarterbacks go in the top 10? And what do all these trades say about the attitude of the NFL with regards to the upcoming draft?
In this podcast
