Our weekly mock draft tracker continues to heavily favor the idea of the New York Giants drafting wide receiver Jaylen Waddle of Alabama with the 11th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. This week, Waddle is the choice in 26 of 86 mock drafts (30.2 percent).
Waddle has been the most popular choice for several weeks now.
The second-most popular choice is Waddle’s fellow wide receiver and Alabama teammate, DeVonta Smith. The Heisman Trophy winner was selected in 16 mocks (18.6 percent).
It will be interesting to see how these mock drafts change in coming weeks, especially if the Giants are able to end their long pursuit of Kenny Golladay by getting the talented wide receivers to sign a contract.
