There are two positions we expect the New York Giants to address heading into the 2021 season: the wide receiver position and the EDGE position.

Nearly every mock draft has the Giants selecting one of those two positions at eleventh overall. That’s complicated by the fact that the EDGE position is in an interesting spot this year. There is no player who is clearly above the others at EDGE, no Myles Garrett or Chase Young to set the pace for the rest of the draft class.

But while there is no true “top” prospect, there are a variety of players with intriguing and varied skill sets. Today the Chris and Joe Show takes a look at the EDGE prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft.

In this podcast

  • Do you have to draft a pass rusher early?
  • Do teams bet on Gregory Rousseau’s ceiling or Kwitty Paye’s floor?
  • Which Day Two prospects could the Giants target?
  • Are there any Day Three players worth double-dipping at the position for?
