Tit-for-tat: Vikings restricted free agent DE Ifeadi Odenigbo has been signed by the Giants, 1 year, $2.5M:
It’s a one-year, $2.5 million deal for former #Vikings DE Ifeadi Odenigbo with the #Giants, per source.

Vikings could have used a $2.1M tender on him but chose not to. 15 QB hits, 42 pressures, 60.7 PFF grade in 2020 with 4 sacks, 74.4 grade in 2019 with 7 sacks. Interestingly, although his pass rush win rate was only average, he was the 5th most double-teamed EDGE rusher in the NFL last year, behind only JJ Watt, Za'darius Smith, Myles Garrett, and Joey Bosa:
bring ifeadi odenigbo back. minimal double teams with hunter, pierce and barr coming back and i think he sees the 2019 - like success again. pic.twitter.com/I5JOfUFOdK

Vikings had a terrible interior DL last year (hence their signing Dalvin), but maybe with LW and Dexy in the middle Idenigbo will see less double teaming and be as effective as he was in limited action in 2019. Since we missed out on Reddick, I like this as a possible value signing. Doesn't mean we shouldn't draft an EDGE, but worth a chance.
Here is Daniel Jones being sacked by Idenigbo last year. Looks like he beat Halapio:

And here are all 10.5 of his sacks the past two years:
