In the wake of the cancellation of the NFL Scouting Combine, the focus has turned to college “pro days” for scouting for the 2021 NFL Draft. Here is a breakdown of Wednesday’s Georgia pro Day.
The biggest name to look out for with the Giants is EDGE Azeez Ojulari, the 6-foot-2, 249-pound pass rusher who was the top prospect at Georgia’s pro day. Regarded as a mid-first to very early-second round prospect, the redshirt sophomore tied for eighth in the FBS with 8.5 sacks last season. At the pro day, Ojulari posted a 4.63 second 40-yard dash, as well as a 10 foot, 7 inch broad jump. Ojulari is firmly establishing himself as one of the drafts top edge rushers, and may find himself as a draft target for the Giants, too.
Also at the Pro Day were DBs Tyson Campbell and Eric Stokes. Stokes has garnered more attention of the two, as the 6-foot-1, 195-pound corner recorded a blazing 4.25 40-yard dash along with a 38.5 inch vertical. Quickly climbing up many draft boards, Stokes could find himself in the later part of the first round. Campbell, meanwhile, has firmly solidified his Day 2 status with a 4.38 40 yard among solid drills.
Reminder: the Giants’— I mean the Georgia Pro Day is today #NFLDraft

Keep on edge Azeez Ojulari
NYG has drafted at least one Georgia player in all three Gettleman drafts, 4 overall (2 last year). Baker was a disaster. 3 were 2020 starters: Carter, Thomas, Crowder.
Based on what we have seen in the last three years, the Giants clearly have an affinity for the Bulldogs. So, definitely keep your eyes on Ojulari, Stokes and Campbell.
