NFL: Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Giants are in a tricky position heading into the 2021 off-season. Their defense was much-improved in 2020 over the 2018 or 2019 iterations, but it still had one glaring weakness: the Giants lacked a natural pass rush, specifically off the edge.

But were things as they appeared? Do the Giants really need an “ace” pass rusher in 2021? Or do they already have the pieces in place, ready to step up and help the defense get off the field on critical third downs?

In this podcast

  • The state of the Giants’ pass rush
  • Where do Lorenzo Carter and Oshane Ximines stand?
  • What about Carter Coughlin and Cam Brown?
  • What are the Giants’ options in free agency and the draft?
